The toughest rear tyre from WTB - JUDGE 29x2.4” TCS TOUGH/TRITEC HIGH GRIP. The middle of the tread alternates between wide and long sipes that support braking traction and the ability to control. Exactly what you need from your rear tyre. The profile of the tyre is rendered into cubes with extreme side sipes, so that when they lean they are able to bite into the ground.

TriTec uses a mixture of three rubbers to provide various levels of traction, support and lifespan depending on their location on the tyre. The entire tread is supported by a base of very hard rubber which goes to half the height of the sipes pattern allowing for a softer mix in the sipes without deforming them with the forces they must absorb while cornering. The upper part of the middle sipes is made of a mixture of half hard durometers, which ensure traction and longevity without lowering the effectivity. Meanwhile the inner sipes are made from the softest mixture which ensures maximum grip and slow bounce.
