The POLAR H10+ FOREST CAMO is an enhanced chest strap transmitter set, utilizing three frequency bands simultaneously, including Bluetooth Smart, 5 kHz coded band, and ANT+, ensuring versatile compatibility and reliable connectivity for a seamless fitness tracking experience. In bluetooth mode it is able to pair with 2 receivers simultaneously. The Polar H10+ is an improved version of the H10 with its own memory and ANT+ band transmitter. The transmitter can store 1 record of the heart rate, which can then be transferred e.g. to the mobile app
The Polar H10+, transmitting across three bands, is compatible with select mobile phones (iOS, Android minimum version 4.3), as well as all POLAR sports testers utilizing Bluetooth Smart transmission. Additionally, it can pair with older models using analog coded data transmission within the 5 kHz band, ensuring widespread compatibility across various devices. Another notable advantage is the ability to connect with select sports testers from other brands using ANT+, further expanding compatibility and flexibility for users across different fitness devices and platforms.
strap size: M-XXL (for chest sizes 65-105 cm), S-XS (50-75 cm), XXXL (90-135 cm)
The strap requires regular maintenance to ensure optimal performance. After each use, it's important to detach the transmitter and wash the sensing electrodes with water to prevent the corrosion process caused by dried sweat, thus prolonging the lifespan of the device. The strap should also undergo washing several times a year, using a maximum temperature of 40°C to maintain its integrity. However, it's essential to note that the lifetime of the strap is limited. Over time, the sensing electrodes may degrade, resulting in an impedance exceeding 50 kiloohms. This can lead to temporary fluctuations in heart rate values, and eventually, complete loss of transmission. The lifetime of the strap cannot be precisely specified, as it depends on various factors such as maintenance, frequency of use, intensity of sweat, and so forth. However, as a general guideline, the manufacturer typically suggests a lifespan of 1 to 1.5 years when used for approximately 1 hour per day.
