The compact, lightweight folding fire starter Lifesystems DUAL ACTION FIRESTARTER comes with a pair of rods that guarantee safe and very easy use. The first rod is made of Ferroceria, an alloy of Ceria, Lanthanum and Iron. By striking, it can create sparks at a temperature of 2980°C. The second rod is made of magnesium and after it is scratched, it serves as tinder. The flintstone creates sparks in any weather.
