Drop-thru longboards feature a unique desk shape, where the desk sits lower than the mounted trucks. There are two typed of truck mountings:

First is Drop-Tru, trucks are mounted from the top of the desk. With the second one, the desk itself is shaped in a way that puts the desk lower than the trucks, so called double-drop. These longboards are very stable in high speeds thanks to lowered centre of gravity, which makes them suitable for downhill or freeride.
