Bushman TRAIL men's ankle boots are a stylish throwback to the past. They are made of a smooth and sturdy leather and are not glued, but firmly stitched. The basis of the shoes is a flexible insole with ventilation holes, on to which the upper and the sole are sewn on to. This makes them more durable than glued shoes and they are also more flexible and more robust. The rubber outsole has a deep enough tread pattern so that it does not slip on the ground or on pavement. Simply tighten the laces and the tongue won't fly around or squeeze your toes. It is not sewn, but it forms a solid part of the boot, so it does not wrinkle anywhere and there is no space around the lacing through where heat can escape or that water soaks in. In addition, the tongue and the area around the ankles are reinforced and softened. Ideal for casual wear and day hikes.
